SMASH TACOS

INGREDIENTS:
1 lbs lean ground beef (or even ground chicken or turkey)
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp paprika
1 tsp salt
3/4 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp pepper
4 small flour tortillas
Suggested toppings:
Shredded lettuce
Dice fresh tomatoes
Pico de gallo
Salsa
Sour cream
Diced onion
Sliced jalapeños
Chopped cilantro
Shredded cheese
Diced avocado
Lime wedges
Tapatio
Hot Sauce
DIRECTIONS:
Blend the seasonings into the ground beef very well. Portion meat into 4 equal sized balls.
Smash the seasoned beef onto one side of each tortilla until it reaches the edges, pressing down firmly.
Heat a large skillet or griddle to high heat.
Lightly oil your pan with tallow or cooking oil.
Gently place a prepared tortilla meat side down I to the pan. Cook for approximately 3 minutes and then carefully flip it over. Cook for 1-2 minutes on the other side until crispy or to your desired doneness.
Remove from the pan and add desired toppings. Enjoy!!!
