PICO DE GALLO (Taco Time Style)

If you love Mexican cuisine as much as our family does, you are going to love this homemade Pico De Gallo recipe! I add black olives when I am making my delicious Americanized mexi-fry supreme. (Mexi-fries, QUESO cheese sauce, seasoned taco meat, sour cream and this Pico De Gallo)  Skip adding the olives for the more traditional version.  Add more or less jalapeños to your heat preference.  I like to use both red and sweet onions because it makes it look prettier. 😉

INGREDIENTS:

8 Roma tomatoes, seeds removed and diced

1 large jalapeño, seeds removed and diced

1 small red onion, diced

1 small sweet white onion

1/2 cup chopped cilantro

Juice of 1 lime

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, toss all ingredients to combine.

  2. Serve immediately.

  3. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container and refrigerated for up to 5 days.
